Our fast-paced world has left our bodies and minds struggling to keep up. Unprecedented levels of stress have led to a rise in sickness and poor mental health. Understanding the root causes of stress, including unresolved trauma, lifestyle, relationships, family, finances, work, and diet, is crucial.

Chronic stress can lead to trauma, which in turn decreases a person's resilience to future stress. This cycle makes it increasingly difficult to cope with everyday challenges, perpetuating a state of heightened stress and anxiety. Breaking this cycle is essential for achieving long-term well-being.

Trauma and stress create a negative feedback loop, resulting in pain, negative thoughts, relationship issues, deteriorating health, and mental struggles. However, it doesn’t have to be this way. Our brains and bodies can adapt and change, and it’s up to us to harness this miraculous power within ourselves.

To live fully in alignment, we must engage all three intelligence centers: our head, mind, and heart. This connection helps us tap into our body’s intelligence, creating a new internal landscape filled with peace and intention. Stress and trauma often teach us to disconnect these centers. To recover, we need to understand how to reconnect them and implement practices that support this integration.

About The Founder

Hi, I’m Gwen, the Founder of The Inner Alignment, Co. I created The Inner Alignment, Co. after walking the journey of recovering from a severe mental, emotional, and physical burnout from stress. What I thought was career related stress turned out to be an accumulation of early life trauma, a dysregulated nervous system, and not having the tools to understand how to process and express my emotions. 

Early in my attempts at breaking free from my stressful life, I left my six figure income and attempted to move to Costa Rica because I thought it was the answer to a less stressful life. I quickly realized that changing my entire life was not the answer I was seeking. I wanted to know how to feel healthy, happy, and alive in mine. So, I embarked on the journey of healing myself from the inside out. I began learning everything I possibly could about the phenomenon of stress and implemented what I learned into my everyday life. Through utilizing stress management, mindfulness, and other inner reflection tools, I changed the trajectory of my life and my internal state in ways that I simply don’t have enough space to detail out - yes it’s been that profound of a transformation.

As a natural byproduct of my inner transformation, I’ve developed a deep passion for helping people reduce stress and improve their quality of life - as I fully understand both the chains of chronic stress and the joy of life on the other side. I stand in the school of thought that a stress management solution that truly helps a person, addresses them on a holistic level, taking into consideration their mental, emotional, social, and physical state. 

My philosophy on stress is, “when you know better, you can do better”. While many people struggle with stress, few people understand they have the power to change their internal state of being. I’m here to share that knowledge with people and create a more free and mindful world, one person at a time! Everyone deserves access to the keys that open new doors and that’s the driving force of The Inner Alignment, Co.
